The Legacy 2.0 15″” Men’s Boots feature an innovative design, safety features, and enhanced protection. Our non-marking Chevron outsole has been upgraded to achieve an SRC rating-the highest level of slip-resistance that can be awarded. From a comfort standpoint, the contoured topline is lower at the back to prevent calf-chafing and features a polyurethane rim for comfort. A roomier fit combined with a PU insole for longwearing comfort and reduced foot fatigue. Protection is also beefed up with extra layers of rubber at the shin and forefoot to prevent bib chafe. The heel features a textured finish for easier on/off, but remains streamlined to avoid snagging on nets. The 100% waterproof triple-dipped neoprene design features hand-layered construction for flex and strength at critical stress points, resistant to cleaning chemicals, contaminants and other corrosives common to the fishing industry. – Recommend half sizes order up – Polymeric Foam insulation helps to keep feet down to -10F/-23C – 100% waterproof triple-dipped latex neoprene is ozone, acid and chemical resistant, softer, lighter and more pliable than ordinary rubber – Non-marking Chevron outsole is rated SRC rated slip-resistant – Roomier fit and a PU insole helps prevent foot & leg fatigue, heel counter secures the foot to prevent movement in the boot – Shin and bib guards prevent wear when rubbing against foul weather gear, textured heel for easy on/off will avoid catching on gill nets – Scalloped PU topline binding mitigates rubbing against the back of the leg – Composite Toe tested to meet ASTM F2413-11 M/75 C/75 – Shaft Circumference is 18 inches and was taken from a size 9.
