The men’s Iron Age Forgefighter is built for high heat industrial work environments. This 10-inch dark brown leather lace-up work boot was dip-tested in 1273-degree molten aluminum in multiple smelters. It features a Vibram® Alpha TC4 Plus rubber outsole. This hard-working outsole doesn’t just resist slips and oils. It also resists heat, metal chips and chemicals. Additional quality comes from Goodyear® welt construction with a leather welt and tough Kevlar stitching. ASTM tested features include a composite safety toe, Poron XRD internal metatarsal guard that is flexible for daily wear, yet hardens upon impact, and these boots are electrical hazard resisting. Iron Age also made this a comfortable boot. The footwear is fully lined with moisture-wick Dri-Lex® lining. It also has a dual-layered memory foam cushion footbed that is removable.
