Strong Kevlar® stitching holds up to wear and tear with proven Goodyear® welt construction, keeping the sole attached to the upper in extreme working conditions. The Groundbreaker is loaded with safety features. This boot meets ASTM F2413 safety standards for impact, compression with a steel protective toe and CUSHGUARD™ internal metatarsal guard that hardens upon impact. In combination, the steel toe and internal met provide protection for the tops of feet and toes against accidental drops and rolling objects. Also rated for electrical hazards, the Groundbreaker provides resistance to live circuits and wires. A durable Vibram® rubber outsole provides slip resistance to slick and oily surfaces as well as resistance to chemicals, heat, metal chips and abrasion.
